What an awesome time that was! We were glad to help and really excited to be sous chefs, or roadies, or whatever were were. Of course, we were fortified by the excellent Kelso beer being served. I enjoyed working the knife – didn’t stab anyone, kept all my fingers, didn’t poison anyone. Thanks for a unique experience.

Hey everyone – thanks for the great comments & compliments! Brooke: I actually taste-tested with a few dogs, including a farm-made pork dog, but I felt like the Nathan’s dog was the best compliment for my chili (and vice versa). Cathy: good idea about bringing the perros poblanos to Grilliardsburg on Saturday… Hmm…
